I am Mary Beth Dugan artist of Mermaid Tears By MB. I am a mermaid at heart and love the ocean and finding Sea glass! So a few years ago I started making my artwork as gifts for a few special friends and it just took off from there. I hand make all my figurines of Mermaids and other Sea creatures out of clay, and put them into underwater type scenes using my own Sea Glass that I find locally in Newport RI. I also use shells. Driftwood, pottery pieces ect, I try to give my pieces a very natural aesthetic as though your looking right into the water. I use wood frames, portholes and repurposed mirrors to do my art. I am so excited to be a part of Hotpoint Emporium.
